The successful partnership between ALDI CHINA and Epta

ALDI debuts in China and chooses Epta to furnish its pilot store in Shanghai, situated inside the Minhang and Jing’An district.

Design, technology and consolidated expertise worldwide: these are the key factors behind the partnership between ALDI and Epta. The Client is interested in the possibility to avail of the experience of a global manufacturer, which has shown flexibility and rapid ability to respond to every need.

For the food area, the Group suggested Bonnet Névé solutions, made to measure for the specific requirements of the Chinese retail market, which presents stores of different formats compared with those in the West, and in Australia. The choice fell on the open vertical chillers ROCK and ROCK ECO with doors, the semi-vertical cabinets MARBLE and CRYSTAL glass door freezers. These cabinets merge elegant aesthetics and maximum visibility with high-energy performance. In addition, to reduce the complexity of system installation and improve space management, Epta suggested its waterloop solution: ideal solution for this supermarket of just 500 m2, it transforms each remote cabinet into a plug-in unit exploiting a water loop.

Finally, it is noteworthy that the BOSS monitoring system makes it possible to connect to the store by means of remote access, manage the alarms and display in real time the parameters of the refrigerated solutions, thanks to a visual representation of the store.
